The inventor of Premier Vinyl Deck, put 25 years of construction experience into the design of a system that over comes the frustrations experienced by deck and dock contractors. As a General Engineering and Building Contractor the inventor understood first hand the need for a user-friendly deck system.  Vinyl decking was originally developed as an “add on” to the vinyl siding, window and fence business. Many deck designs use ideas about fastening systems that are “borrowed” from wooden deck designs.  These historical ideas (particularly direct fastening) create potential problems as early as initial installation. Premier Vinyl Decks track and fasteners are hidden and do not penetrate the vinyl (fastener to vinyl problems). The track gives added moisture protection to the bearing area of the joist which helps prevent dry rot conditions. There is no vinyl-to-vinyl contact (squeaks).  Interior walls, horizontal to vertical radius points as well as other design features maximize the strength and utility of Premier Vinyl Decking.
